Many hospitals must offer charity care, and you can apply for free. Here is how to find your hospital's program and apply, no service needed.

Charity care is real, and applying is free. Dollar For, an independent nonprofit, will help you apply at no cost. You can also search your hospital's name with the words financial assistance policy, or ask the billing office for it directly.
